The team relies on the goodwill of businesses and members of the public to sustain the charity and keep it operational.
Whilst we always welcome monetary donations of any amount, if you feel that you are able to help in other ways, such as the donation or sponsorship of equipment, vehicles or services, we’d love to hear from you, just reach out via the email addresses on the contact page.
The team is always in need of additional equipment, PPE and uniform so your support will be gratefully received, no matter how small or large. If you would like to help fundraise for us, perhaps by hosting a donation tin or doing a sponsored event, please get in touch.
Want to make a difference?
North Cumbria Search & Rescue was inspired by the founders involvement in the Storm Desmond Emergency Response TEN years ago, and the flooding that had a catastrophic impact across the community of Carlisle, Cumbria - and beyond.
The team work with the local blue light services to assist on both inland waterway and land searches, and are also prepared (and local) should Carlisle experience another flooding event like Desmond. Any donation will help make a huge impact to our voluntary team. As a totally voluntary team every penny makes a huge difference. The team doesn't receive any government funding and it's costs are insurance, equipment, vehicles, fuel, specialist clothing, training, welfare and maintenance.
